          IT之家 2 月 18 日消息，据外媒 Auto Express 今日报道，吉利正加快在英国市场扩张步伐，目标是在 2030 年前实现至少 10 万辆年销量，并在未来两年内推出不少于 7 款新车型。
吉利英国销售负责人 Harry Bathe 在接受采访时表示，将生产引入英国具有现实意义。“这是符合吉利利益的方向。如果品牌规模增长到具备财务可行性，吉利一定会推进本地生产。”
吉利英国董事总经理 Mike Yang 表示，制造决策不只围绕压低成本展开。：“从制造角度看，在英国或其他地区生产都是选项，但核心在于客户体验和满意度。决策将综合考虑效率、成本以及是否具备优势。”
路透社近期报道称，吉利与福特正讨论使用后者欧洲闲置产能生产汽车的可能性。双方合作范围可能不仅限于整车制造，还包括技术研发。
福特位于科隆的工厂近期完成价值 20 亿美元（IT之家注：现汇率约合 138.26 亿元人民币）的改造，目前生产新款 Capri 和 Explorer。该工厂年产能可达 25 万辆，当前产量低于设计水平。
